Zentao Scrum Tool

Today I was a little board and I thought I can change my mood by working for a while. I had a little web application in my mind that I want to develop and I thought it will be a good opportunity for me to learn something new. The first thing I wanted to do is to manage well my web application development. As my experience taught me, a successful project is well managed project. And as I am familiar with Agile methodology and Scrum, I choose to work with Scrum. The problem here, is that I used Scrum as a developer, but now is not the case because I will be the Product Owner, The Scrum Master and the Developer (This will be a little bit hard).
The solution to this problem is to find a tool that is easy to use to guide me. I known many Agile Tools and I used some of them, IBM Rational Team Concert is the best, but unfortunately it costs a fortune. So what about open source? I visit sourceforge.net to find what I look for. The search result for scrum was quiet long, but the choice is simple, find the most downloaded. And it was ZenTao ! 1,728 weekly download. The first test for an open source project is the install. I use Windows 8 and the install was so simple Download, extract and Lunch.
In two hours I was able to set up my product, my project, added my company, groups and users and fill out my user stories and tasks.
Each project needs good management, Agile methodology provide that, and I think with a tool like ZenTao it will be more simpler and with no cost.
